Sparta vs. Heerenveen (Sunday, 1.30pm)
Sparta Rotterdam will play their final match at Sparta-Stadion Het Kasteel for the 2023-24 Eredivisie season this Sunday afternoon when they play host to a stuttering Heerenveen.
The hosts are currently in eighth place in the league standings with 46 points after 33 games, while the visitors are two places behind them in 11th with 37 points over the same period.
We say: Sparta Rotterdam 2-1 Heerenveen
While Sparta should secure the final Conference League playoff spot for the season, they are only two goals and three points ahead of Go Ahead Eagles and will want to avoid a nervy ending to the campaign. The hosts have been solid over the last four gameweeks, and we feel they will end the term with a narrow home win.
Vitesse vs. Ajax (Sunday, 1.30pm)
Ajax conclude their Eredivisie season knowing that they have already secured fifth place in the Eredivisie standings.
As for their hosts Vitesse, though, this is their final match in the top flight before relegation, a consequence of their recent 18-point deduction.
We say: Vitesse 1-4 Ajax
Although Vitesse have responded strongly to their points deduction, Ajax may relish the chance to play without pressure and scrutiny. With that in mind, we are backing a free-flowing performance from the visitors in a convincing win.
Almere City vs. Nijmegen (Sunday, 1.30pm)
Almere City and NEC draw the curtain on their respective 2023-24 Eredivisie seasons with a meeting at the Yanmar Stadion on Sunday afternoon.
Both teams head into this one off the back of defeats last time out and will be looking to bounce back in their season finale this weekend.
We say: Almere City 1-1 NEC
There is little to play for heading into this weekend's contest but we expect a keenly-contested affair nonetheless with the sides matching each other over the course of the 90 minutes and settling for a share of the spoils in the end.
AZ vs. Utrecht (Sunday, 1.30pm)
AZ Alkmaar will be looking to pick up a fifth straight victory when they entertain the challenge of FC Utrecht at the AFAS Stadion on Sunday.
The visitors, meanwhile, make the journey this weekend aiming to get back to winning ways having seen their five-game unbeaten run end last time out.
We say: AZ Alkmaar 2-1 FC Utrecht
AZ have put together a strong end to the season and will be confident of rounding off on a high. We can see the home side getting the job done at the sound of the final whistle.
Volendam vs. Go Ahead Eagles (Sunday, 1.30pm)
Two sides who could really do with a victory go head to head at the Kras Stadion on Sunday as FC Volendam lock horns against Go Ahead Eagles.
The hosts are currently on a run of four consecutive defeats while their visitors are winless in six matches leading up to this weekend's contest.
We say: FC Volendam 1-2 Go Ahead Eagles
Go Ahead Eagles have struggled for goals of late but will fancy their chances of getting on the score sheet against a team with Volendam's defensive frailties. We just about fancy the away side to emerge victorious in the end.
Feyenoord vs. Excelsior (Sunday, 1.30pm)
Feyenoord will look to end the 2023-24 Eredivisie season on a winning note when they host a struggling SBV Excelsior at De Kuip on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts are on 81 points heading into gameweek 34 of what has been an exhilarating league season, while the visitors are on 29 points and currently in the relegation playoff spot.
We say: Feyenoord 4-1 SBV Excelsior
Feyenoord have been in excellent form over the last few months, but unfortunately for them, PSV have been a cut above the rest this term. Still, the hosts will want to give Arne Slot a memorable send-off and we feel they will do so with a comfortable victory in this one.
Heracles vs. Sittard (Sunday, 1.30pm)
Heracles and Fortuna Sittard will bring their 2023-24 Eredivisie campaigns to an end when they face off in their final game of the season at Erve Asito in Almelo in Sunday afternoon.
The hosts have safely navigated the season and are set for a solid mid-table finish, while the visitors are just three points above Excelsior, who currently sit in the relegation playoff spot.
We say: Heracles 1-2 Fortuna Sittard
While Heracles are likely to survive the drop this season, they would love nothing more than to take something from this match to maintain their 14th-placed standing or even overtake Almere City into 13th. However, their form of late is far from inspiring, and we feel they will have to rely on results elsewhere to help them stay out of the bottom three.
PEC Zwolle vs. FC Twente (Sunday, 1.30pm)
The final match at MAC³PARK Stadion in the 2023-24 Eredivisie season will see PEC Zwolle playing host to Europa League hopefuls FC Twente on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts have successfully avoided a return to the Eerste Divisie this season, while the visitors are one win away from securing their place in Europe next term.
We say: PEC Zwolle 1-3 FC Twente
While Zwolle have strung together a positive run of results in the last month of the campaign, they now face a Twente side that are just one win away from booking their place in next season's Europa League. The visitors are coming off the back of a massive performance against Volendam last week, and we feel they will manage another comfortable victory in this one.
PSV vs. RKC Waalwijk (Sunday, 1.30pm)
PSV Eindhoven play host to RKC Waalwijk looking to end one of the best seasons in their history with a 29th victory in the Eredivisie.
As for the visitors, they make the trip to the Philips Stadion requiring all three points in order to guarantee that they do not face a relegation playoff.
We say: PSV Eindhoven 3-0 RKC Waalwijk
Although RKC are on a strong run of form by their own standards, they will recognise the task in hand here. We can only see this contest being one-way traffic, leaving the visitors needing a favour from elsewhere.
