Chelsea transfer news: Nkunku to join in 2023, Dortmund star identified

Christopher Nkunku

The deal for Chelsea to sign the RB Leipzig man is done.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have agreed to pay £53m to fend off rival interest for the Frenchman's services.

But the bad news for Chelsea fans is that they will have to wait until next season to see Nkunku in action.

It's been an impressive season for the 25-year-old, having scored 17 goals in 23 appearances for RB Leipzig this term.

However, the forward is set to move to Stamford Bridge next summer, which doesn't solve Chelsea's issues now.

Youssofa Moukoko

Moukoko could be the perfect replacement for Broja and might even become Chelsea's first-choice striker.

The 18-year-old's deal with Borussia Dortmund expires in the summer and he is yet to sign a new contract, which has drawn Todd Boehly's attention.

The Times report that Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all looking at signing the German international.

Moukoko has long been considered one of the best striker prospects in Europe and has all the physical and technical qualities to impress in the Premier League.

N'Golo Kante

It looks like Kante's time in west London is over, with the Frenchman's contract set to expire next summer.

The 31-year-old has yet to sign a new deal and can sign a pre-contract with a European club in January.

And SPORT claim the 2018 World Cup winner wants to have his future resolved soon by agreeing a deal with Barcelona that would see him join the club next summer.

Kante joined Chelsea in 2016 and has won six trophies during his time at the club, including the Champions League and Premier League.

Moises Caicedo

With N'Golo Kante heading for the exit door, Potter wants to be reunited with his Brighton protegee Caicedo.

The Ecuador star has been one of the Premier League standout midfielders this season and has drawn the attention of a lot of clubs.

But Sky Sports report that the Blues, along with Liverpool, want to sign the 21-year-old this January.

However, the Seagulls have no intention of selling him, so it would take a massive bid for Brighton to change their mind.

Josko Gvardiol

Gvardiol was one of the stars of the World Cup as he helped Croatia finish third in Qatar.

The 20-year-old was incredible with and without the ball and Chelsea are preparing a fresh bid for the centre-back having seen multiple offers rejected in the summer.

The Daily Mirror report that RB Leipzig are expecting a huge offer for the £87m-rated defender when the transfer window opens in January.

Speaking to The Athletic during the World Cup, Gvardiol addressed rumours linking him with the west London giants.

He said: "About me and Chelsea? I don't know. You know what happened in the last few months. To be honest, I have no idea.

"My agent is taking care of this and we will see. Right now, I'm happy in Leipzig. I don't know, we will see - you never know.

"You know the stories and these things, but all I can say is that I'm happy in Leipzig and right now I'm going to stay there and perform for them."
