Hulk shows off his incredible physique during training with Atletico Mineiro

The 36-year-old remains in exquisite condition as he was filmed going through an intense workout with the Brazilian side.

Hulk, real name Givanildo Vieira de Sousa, gained his adopted name due to his muscular physique.

The forward, who was long linked with a move to the Premier League, clearly does not appear to be waning by age, after a workout was shared online by the club.

Hulk can be seen completing leg exercises, and grimacing as he lifted weights in the gym.

His huge legs can also be seen bulging following encouragement from a member of the club's trainers, before carrying separate core and balance exercises.

The former Porto star returned to Brazil last year, 15 years after leaving his homeland for Japanese side Kawasaki Frontale in 2006.

He made his name playing for the Portuguese giants in the early 2010s before moving to Zenit St Petersburg in Russia.

Hulk has also enjoyed two spells in Japan at either end of his career and moved to Atletico Mineiro from Shanghai Port in 2021.

Since arriving at Mineiro, he has had a successful spell with the club, winning the Brasileiro Serie A, Copa do Brasil, Supercopa do Brasil and two Campeonato Mineiros.

Hulk has made 114 appearances for Atletico, netting 65 goals, and contributed to 18 assists.

His form even earned a recall to the Brazil national team last year and he has won 49 caps in total for the Selecao, scoring 11 times, although he was not part of their 2022 World Cup squad.
