Managed by Reds legend Steven Gerrard, the former England captain has already lured Henderson over to the Prince Mohammad bin Fahd Stadium.
Speaking to CaughtOffside, Jacobs declared that Gomez and Matip's name were discussed ahead of a possible summer swoop.
