The 43-year-old was named as Swans boss on Friday afternoon, replacing Michael Duff who was sacked from his position last month.
But while the move to bring back the club's former assistant coach from his most recent role as Notts County boss was exciting, it was nothing compared to the club's media release.
As part of Williams' unveiling, the new head coach posed with a contract for a series of photos to be used on Swansea's social media channels.
However instead of using his legally-binding, official contract, it seems that the media team handed Williams a fake contract for use in the photo shoot.
Spotting the image, fans zoomed in on the contract to find out the terms of his deal and were left in hysterics by the pretend clauses listed in the agreement.

Having zoomed in ourselves, we can confirm that the Swansea's official images include these quite brilliant stipulations.
The first rule was that Williams "must become the legal guardian of mascots Cyril and Cybil Swan".
The second rule stated that Williams "must agree to a Luke Skywalker announcement video" - something that he did with Swansea unveiling their new head coach with a video captioned: "Luke, you are our gaffer," - a clear reference to the Star Wars franchise.
Clearly looking for some perks of their own, Swansea's media team added the third rule which stated that Williams would "provide snacks for the media team" during away matches.

As you'd expect, the Swansea fans were loving the pretend contract that was drafted up for use on social media.
One fan said: "Well played, media team. I 100% zoomed in."
Another wrote: "Genius. More of this from football clubs please," while a third fan added: "This is honestly the best thing I've ever seen."
Meanwhile a fourth fan added: "The legal guardian of Cyril and Cybil Swan is the funniest part."
As well as this off-field win, Swansea got off to the perfect start under their new boss with Williams leading the Swans to a 2-0 victory over Morecambe in the FA Cup third round.
Goals from ex-Arsenal starlet Charlie Patino and Jerry Yates made the difference, ensuring that the Welsh side will be in the hat for the fourth round draw on Monday.
