Eleonora Pacioni

Eleonora Pacioni (born 23 April 2002) is an Italian footballer who plays as defender for the Italian club Roma. She previously played youth and senior-level football for Roma C.F. before coming through the A.S. Roma academy system. Pacioni signed a three-year contract extension with A.S. Roma on 14 June 2021 and was one of the first football players to be represented by Francesco Totti's CT10 Management agency.

Club Career

Pacioni began her youth career with local club Roma C.F. before making her senior debut with the Serie B club in a January 2018 league game. Pacioni's form and talent won the attentions of Serie A club A.S. Roma, who signed the defender to their Roma Primavera youth team for the 2019–2020 season.

In February 2020, Pacioni captained Roma Primavera in the Viareggio Women's Cup final where Pacioni scored an 85th-minute goal for Roma in a 3–2 loss to Juventus. Despite the loss in the cup final, Pacioni was elected as one of the Viareggio Cup's Top 11 players. Later in the same year, Pacioni captained Roma Primavera to their first Primavera league title as they beat Juventus 2–1 in the 20 September 2020 Scudetto playoff final.

The victory over Juventus meant Roma Primavera went the entire 2019–20 league season undefeated. Pacioni then captained Roma Primavera to their second consecutive league title in the following 2020–21 season. Pacioni's success at youth level led to her signing a three-year contract extension with A.S. Roma in the summer of 2021.
