The Dragons are sat second in Group D behind Turkey after giving their hopes a huge boost by beating Croatia 2-1 last month.

Robert Page's side's chances of reaching the showpiece tournament were looking bleak but that win, as well as victory in Latvia, has turned things around.

And they are now on the brink of booking a place in the European Championships for the third straight time…

What do Wales need to reach Euro 2024?

Wales can book their place at Euro 2024 by beating Armenia and Turkey in their final qualifiers.

A win against both teams will be enough to finish inside the top two of Group D.

Page's side are level on points with Croatia as it stands, meaning they can still finish on the same tally.

However, because the Dragons boast a better head-to-head record against Croatia, they will finish above them if both teams win their last two games.

If Wales were to lose or draw their games against Armenia and Turkey, they still have a chance to qualify but they would be relying on others to drop points.

But if they were to slip out of the top two, it surprisingly wouldn't spell the end of their qualification chances…

Wales are almost guaranteed to receive a Euro 2024 qualification play-off spot if they drop out of second.

They may have lost their top-tier Nations League status but most of the teams above them in the rankings are set to qualify automatically.

That means the Dragons are likely to be one of the 12 best-ranked teams that are selected to compete in the play-offs for three places at the tournament in Germany.

But of course, Wales only have to worry about that should they drop out of the top two in Group D.

All focus will be on winning their final two games and securing an automatic place at Euro 2024.
