Razing the roof

Arsenal and Chelsea are battling to sign Shamrock Rovers teenager Naj Razi, according to The Sun.

Razi has been playing regularly for the Irish side this season as well as starring for Ireland's U17s at the Euros.

And he is attracting interest from the Premier League already, with the London rivals competing for his signature.

European giants Real Madrid are also said to be keeping an eye on his situation with the youngster set for a huge move.

'If you boo Rice, you're a disgrace'

David Moyes thinks Declan Rice should be welcomed back to West Ham 'with open arms' - but not everyone agrees.

The England regular will return to the London Stadium tonight in the Carabao Cup, but this time wearing the red and white of Arsenal.

Ahead of the game his old manager Moyes said: "He should be welcomed back with open arms. We're all looking forward to seeing him again."

Discussing the issue, talkSPORT host and former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy put his feet firmly in the 'no booing' camp.

"If you boo Declan Rice, you're an absolute disgrace, you're a disgrace to your club," he said.

"What really is annoying me is they bigged him up 'we want £110million' yet when he left they all came crawling back saying 'we're a better team without him' all of a sudden West Ham's season is grinding to a halt.

"Here's what I want to hear, West Ham fans calling up tonight and showing their appreciation for what he did at the football club, what he achieved and what he delivered."

However, a Hammers fan called into talkSPORT to argue with Cundy and their debate can be read below...

Not over it

Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio has slammed Romelu Lukaku for a lack of respect over his failed permanent return to the San Siro.

Lukaku looked close to sealing a transfer to Inter from Chelsea following a loan spell back at his former club, but the deal broke down in the summer.

He is now on loan at Serie A rivals Roma, and it appears Inter bosses are still not over Lukaku's behaviour - with accusations the striker ghosted his Inter teammates and club bosses as they tried to get a deal done.

Inter's sporting director Ausilio said: "Lukaku? Deals can collapse but respect should always be there.

"If someone disappears and doesn't even answer to phone calls… that was unacceptable.

"The deal with Chelsea collapsed on July 8 after days and days trying to call him."

Pati-noooo!

Arsenal fans will not be happy to hear that Juventus are eyeing a move for young star Charlie Patino.

The Gunners supporters were stunned earlier this year after reports claimed that manager Mikel Arteta was open to selling him.

And now Patino is a target for Serie A giants Juve who, according to Calciomercato, have had a long-standing interest in the midfielder.

Patino is currently on loan at Swansea but Arsenal are said to be asking for a fee of £26million to let him go permanently.

Wan-Bissaka extension

Manchester United are reportedly set to trigger a one-year extension in Aaron Wan-Bissaka's contract.

The right-back's current deal runs out this summer but United are keen to keep him, according to The Mirror.

Wan-Bissaka has been in talks with the Red Devils over a new long-term contract but negotiations are stalling, with the club now opting to activate a 12-month option instead.

He is currently sidelined with a significant injury but the 25-year-old is a key member of Erik ten Hag's defence.

'You can f*** off'

John Terry has revealed Jose Mourinho fired expletives at him and Gary Cahill before threatening to replace the former Chelsea captain with Raphael Varane.

Terry played under Mourinho during the Portuguese coach's two spells in charge of the Blues, winning three Premier League titles together.

The incident occurred midway through a training session after Terry and his Chelsea teammates were instructed to do a drill.

However, the performance of the Blues' centre-back partnership left a lot to be desired, with Mourinho calling the pair out in front of the entire squad.

Get behind him

Mauricio Pochettino defended summer signing Nicolas Jackson after the misfiring Chelsea striker was criticised by supporters during the Blues' 2-0 home defeat to Brentford.

"We cannot abuse, even if you say 'wake up', because I think it's not right," Pochettino told a press conference on Tuesday.

"He suffered an injury (to his hand during the last international break), it's difficult to train, to keep fit and to score goals.

"Nico (Jackson) needs support.

"He wants to help the team and for different reasons he's not performing. He played with a cast after he broke his hand.

"Fans can criticise us and they're frustrated but they need to analyse the situation.

"Jackson is young, he arrived this season and there are circumstances that didn't help him perform his best.

"You think we should throw him into the bin and say he's useless? We have to give the confidence.

"He's our striker, he's our player and it's about supporting the player."

Dortmund prepare for Sancho

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly ready to let one of their young stars go to free up space for Jadon Sancho.

The Bundesliga side look set to allow England winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens to leave on loan in January, according to 90min.

That move would then allow Dortmund to set up a potential return for Sancho who is still frozen out at Man United.

He is keen to move away from Old Trafford permanently but a loan switch is the most likely method to get out the door.

Osimhen priority

Chelsea have made Victor Osimhen their main target in their search for a striker, according to Calciomercato.

Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bring in a new No.9 and the Napoli star is reported to be top of his list.

Osimhen's contract at the Serie A champions runs out next summer and there has been no progress in talks over an extension.

The Blues would have to pay around £100million for the Nigerian but are hoping to use money from possibly offloading Romelu Lukaku to help fund the deal.

Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard has admitted he doesn't miss playing football after discussing his early retirement.

"It's perfect. It's perfect. I'm enjoying life and family in the kids," The 32-year-old said at the Balon D'Or ceremony. "I can do what I want and it's a perfect life.

"Of course [I still watch football]. I have kids. They play football.

"I watch it on TV when I can. I do other things also but at the moment I don't miss playing football. Let's see in a few months."

Belle of the bell

Jude Bellingham did not sign for Manchester United because the club refused to promise him first-team football.

That is the view of Reds icon Rio Ferdinand, who told Vibe with Five: "Do you know what I heard it was… he [Bellingham] wanted some assurances about being a first-team player.

"And United weren't willing to give him those assurances, that's what I heard from a very good source.

"He wasn't given assurances of being around the first team and he's said, 'do you know what, I know my worth, I know my value and if you don't value me the way I see myself I'm going to have to jog on and go to another club'.

"He's gone and done that and he's turned round and gone, 'I told you guys, you didn't believe me did you?'.

"And he's gone Real Madrid and he's tearing down Real Madrid, he's turning down the Bernabeu, they've just rebuilt it and he's tearing it down! Unbelievable."
