Barcelona centre-back Gerard Pique is reportedly facing a six-month spell on the sidelines after injuring his knee in Saturday's defeat to Atletico Madrid.
The Spain international was forced off an hour into Barca's 2-0 La Liga loss at the Wanda Metropolitano following a collision with Angel Correa.
Pique was in tears when he left the field, with Barca confirming shortly after the match that he had suffered a sprain.
A scan is scheduled for Sunday to determine the full severity of the injury.
Spanish outlet Sport claims that Barca fear being without the 33-year-old until May, effectively ruling him out of the rest of the campaign.
Barcelona are already without Ansu Fati and Samuel Umtiti, while Sergi Roberto also hobbled off in the defeat to Atleti, which leaves the Catalan giants 10th in the table.
