The PGMOL announced that Rebecca Welch will referee the Craven Cottage clash on December 23.
Welch has been a referee since 2010, having previously juggled the role alongside her job in the NHS.
She is no stranger to breaking records, having already become the first woman to referee an EFL match in 2021, refereeing the League Two fixture between Harrogate Town and Port Vale.
Throughout her career, Welch has also officiated numerous WSL matches and refereed the 2017 and 2020 Women's FA Cup finals.
She also took charge of games at the 2022 Women's European Championship and the Women's World Cup this year.
