Maria Gonzalez, who is 12-years-old, wears the no.7 shirt of her father and also plays as a striker, much like the goalscoring great.
Raul was Real Madrid's and the Champions League's all-time top scorer during his 18 seasons in Europe with Madrid and Schalke, before Cristiano Ronaldo took both of those records.
After spells with Al Sadd in Qatar and New York Cosmos in the US, Raul retired in 2015, and has since returned to Madrid to coach the club's Castilla youth team.
And now he has been joined by his daughter with the two working together in the capital.
Maria had been playing for local side Olympia Las Rozas for the past three seasons but her goalscoring has now attracted the attention of Real.
She is the youngest of four children in the Gonzalez family, with two of Raul's also both footballers.
Since retiring, Raul's coaching career has seen him cut his teeth in coaching with Madrid's youth teams and earned rave reviews.
The 45-year-old was reportedly considered for the first-team role at Real in 2021 when Zinedine Zidane left for the second time, but that job ultimately went to Carlo Ancelotti.
Raul has since been considered by Premier League side Leeds as well as former club Schalke and their Bundesliga competitors Eintracht Frankfurt, Marca reports.
The coach has turned down those advances so far though, perhaps waiting for Ancelotti's departure, with Marca claiming the two have an excellent relationship.
"Raul feels fulfilled in the work he is carrying out at Real Madrid," the sports paper explained. "He is not limited to being the coach of the first subsidiary.
"He is up to date with what happens in Valdebebas [the first team training ground], he serves as a reference for newcomers to the club and is at the service of the entity for whatever he needs.
"He gets along perfectly with Manuel Fernandez, director of the academy, and feels supported by Carlo Ancelotti. He has a voice and a vote when it comes to making his template.
"The Italian coach often speaks with Raul, asking him about the evolution of the kids, they talk about football, and they have a dialogue that barely existed with Zidane. Now the doors of the first team and the subsidiary are open. The understanding is complete.
"On different occasions it has been rumoured that Raul could become the next coach of Real Madrid. Sure it's one of his targets, but he's in no hurry.
"He is at the service of the entity, but now in his head he only has to help the club in the training of players and for what Carlo Ancelotti wants."
