The top-flight has been forced to postpone five fixtures this weekend, after three midweek matches were called off.
Clubs up and down the country are starting to report more positive tests and in some cases that is starting to impact the amount of players available to take to the field on a matchday.
So which fixtures have been called off? Let's start with the midweek games.
Tottenham's trip to face Leicester on Thursday is off, meaning that Spurs' last three fixtures have all been called off as a result of COVID-19.
The King Power cancellation comes after Manchester United's trip to Brentford on Tuesday evening was called off.
And Watford's trip to Burnley was called off with less than three hours' notice due to an outbreak at Vicarage Road.
Now, five more fixtures, initially scheduled for this weekend, have been postponed.
Man United vs Brighton, Southampton vs Brentford, Watford vs Crystal Palace, West Ham vs Norwich and Everton vs Leicester are all off, it was confirmed on Thursday.
All games that do go ahead this week will be exclusively live across the talkSPORT network.
The Premier League are hoping that all remaining fixtures can still be played but that will depend on the moving picture as cases continue to rise across the 20 top flight clubs.
A statement read: "While recognising a number of clubs are experiencing Covid-19 outbreaks, it is the league's intention to continue its current fixture schedule where safely possible. The health and wellbeing of all concerned remains our priority."
