AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli is still unable to call upon his first-choice goalkeeper, but he is hoping to welcome back a couple of key players.
Maignan is joined in the treatment room by long-term Alessandro Florenzi, and while Sergino Dest has also been struggling with injury, the Barcelona loanee would be ineligible to feature in any case, after being left out of Milan's Champions League squad.
The hosts are hoping Ismael Bennacer and Fikayo Tomori can return from their respective injury issues, with the latter set to operate in a back three, which has been utilised by Pioli in the last two games.
Bennacer could feature in central midfield alongside Sandro Tonali, while Alexis Saelemaekers and Theo Hernandez are expected to operate as the two wing-backs.
After being left out of consecutive starting lineups, Rafael Leao was restored to the side on Friday, and having registered nine goals and nine assists in 29 appearances in all competitions this season, he will be one of Milan's main goal threats and a key creative outlet.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic was an unused substitute for the Torino clash - his first appearance in a matchday squad of the season - but having recently returned from a long-term injury, he is unlikely to feature off the bench against Tottenham.
Rather than Ibrahimovic, the responsibility of leading the line will fall to former Arsenal and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, who scored four goals in this season's Champions League group stage.
AC Milan possible starting lineup:
Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Kjaer, Tomori; Saelemaekers, Bennacer, Tonali, Hernandez; Diaz, Leao; Giroud
