Gabriel Jesus is offered to and becomes an option for Real Madrid

Gabriel Jesus is one of many players who have been offered to Real Madrid in recent days, as he looks to leave Manchester City.

The likes of Rafael Leao, Raheem Sterling, Romelu Lukaku and others have also been linked with the Spanish giants and now the Brazilian has too.

According to Cadena Ser, he is being considered after his people got in touch with Real Madrid.

While Los Blancos aren't looking to replace Kylian Mbappe, following his decision to stay at PSG, they would consider a player who can bring in width to the attack.

Unlike some other offers received, Gabriel Jesus is liked by Carlo Ancelotti and is not frowned upon by Real Madrid either.

It should be remembered that at the time when he committed to Manchester City, the Brazilian visited Madrid and could have signed for Los Blancos.

He was also wanted by Bayern Munich and at the time the coach of the Bavarian team was none other than Ancelotti.

The centre-forward's name is one of those that has come up in the meetings held by Florentino Perez, Jose Angel Sanchez and Ancelotti himself. The option is being evaluated and, although there is no fixed decision regarding whether or not to sign a forward, it is certain that the Brazilian is on the list should the club turn to the market for one.

Manchester City's Brazilian striker is on the market, as Pep Guardiola considers him expendable.

The arrival of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez leaves him without a place in the English team. It is true that he finished as a part of the starting XI in the final part of the campaign, but has been on the fringes for large swathes of the season.

Gabriel Jesus could be a prudent transfer

Gabriel Jesus has one year left on his contract, so the outlay wouldn't be significant and the player is already proven.

He could come to the club to add to the squad, knowing that Karim Benzema is in front of him.

The main obstacle for his arrival at Real Madrid is that, as MARCA has reported, one of the options being considered by the club is to sign a short-term option, pending what may happen with Haaland and the release clause he has in two seasons.

Real Madrid are also considering another possibility: the option of a homegrown player. That would be Juanmi Latasa, whose name is on the table in the Valdebebas offices to reinforce the forward line.

The 21-year-old striker made his first-team debut in LaLiga Santander against Cadiz, after a remarkable season with Castilla: 30 appearances and 13 goals.
