Picking up the ball, Foden skipped around a challenge from City teammate Kalvin Phillips before finding the net from a tight angle with a cute backheel finish.

While fans of Pep Guardiola's side are used to seeing these flicks and tricks on a regular basis, England fans will be looking forward to seeing it on a more regular basis.

After being named on the bench for England's opening two group stage fixtures at the World Cup, Foden started in the Three Lions' 3-0 victory over Wales to secure top spot in Group B.
