Jesse Lingard (Manchester United to West Ham, 2020-21)

Jesse Lingard's loan switch to West Ham was truly a success and a pleasure to watch the midfielder back on form.

The 28-year-old netted nine goals with five assists in 16 appearances and took home the Premier League Player of the Month and Goal of the Month awards.

The loan deal was clearly a masterstroke by Hammers' boss David Moyes who got the very best out of the Manchester United ace.

Upon returning to the Red Devils, Lingard thanked West Ham for the incredible spell.

Lingard said: "Thank you to the gaffer [David Moyes] who had the belief in bringing me here.

"Thank you to all the staff that made it so easy for me to settle and embed into the club so quickly."

Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea to West Brom, 2012-13)

Establishing himself as one of the best strikers in the Premier League, Romelu Lukaku is a prime example of loanee success.

Back in the 2012/13, Lukaku joined West Brom on a season loan transfer from boyhood club Chelsea, scoring 17 goals, providing seven assists in 35 matches which helped secure a top-eight finish for Steve Clarke's side.

Impressed with the Belgian striker, former West Brom boss Steve Clarke said: "Lukaku is in a really rich vein of form.

"Physically, he's a great specimen, but he has quick feet for a big man. It's been good for us, good for Rom, and probably good for Chelsea as well."

Jurgen Klinsmann (Sampdoria to Tottenham, 1997-98)

Jurgen Klinsmann was a Tottenham superstar during both of his spells at the North London club.

His first loan transfer at White Heart Lane in the 1994/95 season saw the German bag 30 goals in all competitions, earning him a cult hero status among the Spurs' fanbase.

Eager for more Premier League goals, Klinsmann returned to Tottenham in the latter half of the 1997/98 season, scoring nine in 15 matches which saved the club from what would have been an ignominious relegation!

Carlos Tevez (West Ham to Manchester United, 2007-09)

On a two-year lease, Carlos Tevez made 99 appearances for Manchester United while scoring 34 times, five of which came from the Champions League resulting in the Argentine lifting the prestige trophy in 2008.

The 37-year-old also contributed to the Red Devils' back to back Premier League title wins before joining rivals, Manchester City.

Kevin Campbell (Trabzonspor to Everton, 1999-00)

Everton, who were battling against relegation, welcomed Kevin Campbell back to the Premier League after his three year spell at Nottingham Forest before joining Turkish side, Trabzonspor.

The striker immediately impacted the Toffees as he scored nine goals in his first eight games, lifting the Merseyside spirits.

Campbell also became the first loanee to win the Premier League Player of the Month award in April 1999 before signing a permanent contract with Everton.
