However as we move to the latter stages of the competition we'll really see the cream of the crop in action.
As it stands, Gambia, Cameroon, Burkino Faso, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco, Senegal and Equatorial Guinea are the nations left in the competition as they look to be crowed as the best footballing country in Africa.

The Africa Cup Of Nations Final is due to take place on Sunday, February 6 at the Olembe Stadium, Yaounde.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7pm UK time.
