Tottenham injury news: Son, Lo Celso and Skipp latest ahead of Crystal Palace

Tottenham have enjoyed a dream start to the Premier League season but are now having to deal with something of an injury crisis.

Despite ongoing speculation regarding Harry Kane's future over the summer, the north London side have produced a perfect start to the campaign, winning three from three.

But Spurs now have a number of selection woes which Nuno will have to deal with ahead of the trip to Selhurst Park.

Here's a look at the players who could miss out…

Son Heung-min

The South Korean forward is among the most worrying doubts for Tottenham heading into the weekend.

Son suffered a calf injury in the aftermath of last week's match with Iraq before sitting out the clash with Lebanon on Tuesday night.

The severity of the problem is not yet known and Nuno will be hoping to have the 29-year-old available at Selhurst Park.

Oliver Skipp

The young midfielder has enjoyed a glorious start to the season but suffered a setback on Wednesday night.

Part of the England under-21 side who beat Kosovo in Milton Keynes, Skipp suffered a groin injury which forced him off during the victory.

As a result, Tottenham will assess the blow ahead of making a decision on his fitness going into the weekend.

Ryan Sessegnon

The 21-year-old also suffered an injury blow while away with the England under-21s.

Unfortunately for Sessegnon, he looks almost certain to miss the trip to Palace.

Sessegnon is hoping for a big season with Spurs and will be desperate to get back to fitness as soon as possible.

Joe Rodon

The defender could be in line to return against Crystal Palace.

Rodon suffered a frustrating injury in August which ruled him out of the club's recent victory over Watford.

While Nuno will provide an update this week, the hope is that the Welsh international could return at Selhurst Park.

Giovani Lo Celso

The midfielder looks set to miss the trip to Crystal Palace.

The Argentina man was at the heart of this week's controversy after breaching COVID-19 guidelines by taking to the field in the World Cup qualifier with Brazil.

While Lo Celso has now flown out of Argentina, the player will certainly miss Tottenham's next game as Spurs look to limit the risk of potential infection at the club.

Davinson Sanchez

The Tottenham defender will miss the contest with the Eagles.

Sanchez has been away on international duty during the recent break and represented Colombia in their matches with Bolivia and Paraguay.

As a result he won't be able to link up with his Tottenham teammates for 10 days, ruling him out of the trip to Selhurst Park.

Christian Romero

The defender was also caught up in the unsavoury scenes as Argentina's match with Brazil was abandoned earlier this week.

Romero reportedly didn't have permission from Spurs to link up with his national team, meaning that along with Lo Celso he could be disciplined.

At the very least the new signing will miss the contest with Palace as he sees out his 10-day isolation period.
