Saturday's Serie A predictions including Inter Milan vs. Atalanta

Salernitana vs. Udinese (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Safe from danger since last week, Salernitana play their final home game of the Serie A season when they welcome mid-table Udinese to Stadio Arechi on Saturday.

A series of draws under Paulo Sousa proved enough for the Campanian club to secure a third straight year in Italy's top flight, while their visitors have lost their last two matches to harm hopes of a top-half finish.

While Udinese can end their goal drought against a Salernitana side that struggles to keep clean sheets, the hosts have plenty of attacking threat and have rarely been beaten of late - they are going from strength to strength under Paulo Sousa.

While all Toro have left to aim for is a top-half finish, their hosts aim to build on taking four points from the last six available to inch above relegation rivals Hellas Verona.

As Torino are tough to beat when on the road, even taking one point could represent a good result for Spezia - providing Verona fail to get the better of Empoli on Sunday. Neither side scores freely, so a close contest is set to end in a low-scoring draw.

Fiorentina vs. Roma (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Days after their devastating defeat in the Coppa Italia final, Fiorentina return to Serie A duty on Saturday, seeking a win over top-four hopefuls Roma in their final home fixture of the season.

Returning to Stadio Artemio Franchi following their loss to Inter Milan in Rome, the Viola now welcome visitors from the capital - who are also set to play a European final in the coming days and can still qualify for the Champions League if results fall their way.

We say: Fiorentina 2-1 Roma

For all their recent stumbles, Fiorentina have been beaten at home just four times in Serie A this season, and they can close out their Stadio Franchi campaign with a win. Roma will be mentally preparing for events in Budapest next week and have all but written off chances of a top-four finish.

Inter Milan vs. Atalanta (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Having just lifted a second trophy of the season - and with their eyes still fixed on the ultimate prize - Inter Milan welcome Atalanta BC to San Siro on Saturday.

Both Lombardy clubs are battling for a top-four finish in Serie A, but Inter lead their visitors by four points with just two rounds remaining - leaving La Dea playing catch-up as the campaign nears its conclusion.
