The Reds will head to the Emirates without the services of Wataru Endo (international), Mohamed Salah (muscle), Kostas Tsimikas (collarbone), Stefan Bajcetic (calf), Ben Doak (knee), Joel Matip (knee) and Thiago Alcantara (hip), while Alexis Mac Allister's knee concern will also need a once-over, and Darwin Nunez is a fresh doubt due to a swollen foot.
However, the visitors' team news will be dominated by the unforeseen battle between Trent Alexander-Arnold and Conor Bradley, the latter of whom shone in the 4-1 battering of Chelsea with a goal and two assists in place of his more revered teammate.
Bradley has done more than enough to justify an Emirates start, but several factors are working against the 20-year-old, including the quick turnaround, inexperience, fear of overload and Alexander-Arnold's crucial contributions to last month's FA Cup win over Arsenal.
As a result, Bradley should prepare for a demotion to the bench on Sunday afternoon - which should only spur the youngster on to continue excelling when given opportunities - and an alteration on the opposite end could also see Andrew Robertson come in for Joe Gomez for his first start since dislocating his shoulder in October.
Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate will complete the first-choice rearguard for one of Liverpool's biggest tests of the season to date, while Mac Allister is expected to be fine to line up in the number six position.
Curtis Jones and Dominik Szoboszlai are set to join the Argentine an unchanged engine room, and with Salah still in the care of the medical team, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz should reprise their attacking roles too.
However, Klopp revealed in his pre-game press conference that Nunez left the stadium in a protective boot in midweek, and while the Uruguayan has not sustained any fractures, Cody Gakpo should gear up for a recall to the XI.
Liverpool possible starting lineup:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Jones, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai; Jota, Gakpo, Diaz
