Burns netted an outrageous trivela goal in Ipswich's 2-1 win over Coventry to continue their surge in the Championship.
He bent a right-footed shot with the outside of his boot, which looked like it was going wide, before curling into the top left corner and past a stunned goalkeeper.
Fans were in total awe of the goal on social media.
One person wrote: "Outstanding goal, quite possibly one of the best ever scored in the Championship."
Another added: "This is so unreal."

Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna said: "The individual technique on the finish was as good as you're ever going to see for an outside left-foot finish.
"I thought the build-up to the goal was outstanding. Honestly, I'm not sure there's going to be a better goal scored anywhere today.
"The control that we showed, the patience that we showed in the deep area of the pitch, we were waiting just for the right moment when the opposition would push one extra player to the press.
