The former Manchester United boss is featured on the four-part series after spending seven years alongside Beckham as a player at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer has kept a low profile since being sacked as United boss in 2021 and despite returning to his homeland of Norway, was only too pleased to contribute in the documentary on his former United teammate.
Stevens, who is the director of 'Beckham', revealed how he was able to adapt his schedule to accommodate filming Succession and meeting Solskjaer to work on the documentary.
"Ole lives in Norway and it was very difficult to make our schedules work and very expensive to take a cruise to Norway," Stevens told talkSPORT.
"In episode five of the TV show I was on, we were filming Succession in Norway and I was like 'oh my god'. I texted Ole and said can we meet up and film you on Thursday? He said 'sure, in the afternoon because I'm busy.'

"So I filmed him on my day off for my TV show and his day off from coaching and other responsibilities and I was like 'this is a dream'."
It's fair to say that Stevens was left impressed by his time with Solskjaer, describing the 50-year-old in the highest possible terms.
Stevens added: "I love that guy. He's one of the nicest people in the world, nice to talk to and very blunt about having to come off the bench."
Solskjaer spends his time coaching kids in his homeland, a role he takes up four times a week.
