Chelsea-linked Osimhen launches tirade at teammate's agent for transfer claim

The Nigeria striker has launched a furious attack on teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's agent: Mamuka Jugel.

Jugel reported that Osimhen will be heading to Saudi Arabia this summer and the forward was left incensed.

Osimhen responded on Instagram: "Dear Mamuka Jugeli, you are a piece of filth and a disgrace. I'm embarrassed at your sense of reasoning. Dumbf***! KEEP MY NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH."

It comes after Osimhen threatened legal action against Napoli in 2023 - with the club forced to apologise for mocking his penalty miss on TikTok.

The attacking partnership of Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia was the main reason Napoli won their first Serie A title in 33 years last season.

Osimhen scored 26 goals in 32 league games, while many considered creative force Kvaratskhelia to be the league's most valuable player.

However, both players have struggled to recapture the form of last term and fans will fear a fallout after Osimhen's Instagram post.

The Nigerian signed a contract extension with Napoli in December but it is thought to include a £112million release clause.

Osimhen has been heavily-linked with a move to goal-shy Chelsea in January.

He appeared to add fuel to the fire by responding to a Blues fan on social media in recent weeks.

The 25-year-old is currently with the Nigeria squad at the Africa Cup on Nations in the Ivory Coast.
