That's just some of the ways that talkSPORT's Alex Crook described the Red Devils after their humiliating 4-1 defeat to local rivals Manchester City on Sunday.
Crook, a United fan, insists that the owners 'deserve' to see how poorly the club is doing after failing to run it properly since Sir Alex Ferguson left in 2013.
And he says that this team is the worst he's ever seen - singling out Harry Maguire as someone that 'should be nowhere near' the starting XI.
"I think it's depressing, but in some ways, it's what the owners deserve," Crook told talkSPORT.
"It's what the Glazer family deserves because the way that the football club has been run since Sir Alex Ferguson and David Gill departed has been nothing short of appalling.
"You can't keep thinking that just because you were a big club once, it gives you a divine right to play regular Champions League football and contests for trophies - it doesn't work like that.
"You have to invest in the infrastructure, you have to invest in a proper director of football - somebody who knows how to operate in the transfer market - don't keep throwing away good money after bad.
"This group of Manchester United players is the worst group of Manchester United players that I've seen in my lifetime.
"They've got no character, they've got no desire, they've got no commitment, they've got no tactical awareness. It just gets worse and worse.
"Manchester City are lightyears ahead of us, Liverpool are lightyears ahead of us. Chelsea, who actually aren't pulling up too many trees this season, are lightyears ahead of us.
"Arsenal are in danger of overtaking United because they've got the recruitment right, they've got the right people making the right decisions, they've got good characters in the dressing room.
"Everything that Manchester United don't have.
"I don't like to single out individuals, because they're all equally culpable, but Harry Maguire, England's Harry Maguire, has been appalling now for a two, maybe three, years.
"He should be nowhere near the England squad. He should be nowhere near this Manchester United team.
"But look at the body language - they're coming off the pitch, there's an acceptance, there's a grimace from Ralph Rangnick their heads are bowed, they're a disgrace."
