Van de Beek expecting baby with Arsenal legend Bergkamp's daughter Estelle

Donny van de Beek and his partner Estelle, the daughter of Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp, are expecting their first child.

The Manchester United outcast is struggling for minutes on the pitch but has announced some good news in his personal life.

He posted a picture of himself with Estelle and of an ultrasound of their baby with the caption: "Happy to announce that we're expecting a little one."

Van de Beek's WAG also posted a photo of the pair with a similar caption.

The couple began dating last summer after meeting in Amsterdam.

Estelle was born in London during her father's spell at Arsenal, who he signed for in 1995 before making 423 appearances.

She has been supporting Van de Beek during a difficult period as his United future remains in the balance.

Van de Beek left Ajax last summer in a £35m deal and scored on his debut against Crystal Palace.

Despite that, the playmaker struggled for opportunities with Bruno Fernandes preferred in the No 10 role meaning he had to be accommodated elsewhere.

This season minutes have been at even more of a premium following the arrivals of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho.

In the Premier League Van de Beek has made just one substitute cameo, affording him six minutes.

His other appearances have come in the cup competitions as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer struggles to fit the Dutchman into his system.

A move away was touted in the summer with Everton among the interested parties, but United wanted to keep hold of the player.

The 24-year-old's frustration has been evident this year as he deals with constantly being overlooked.

Solskjaer said last month: "When you see our team, you know we have good players. I hope for Donny that he gets his chances and then takes them.

"Now I didn't need him, but I know I can always count on him.

"He's still trying hard, but it's hard for him. I understand that. He is disappointed and frustrated, but he works hard every day and does it with a big smile."

Van de Beek was brought on late by the United boss as his side salvaged a draw against Atalanta on Tuesday night.

Solskjaer was quick to praise the Dutchman's role in Ronaldo's leveller.

"Donny provided the run for the last goal and he keeps working," he said.

"He's got qualities in there to unlock close defences and he almost scored as well. I thought all of those who came on did well."
