After a slow start to the season, the 24-year-old has impressed in recent weeks and there is a belief the £50million summer signing should now be challenging the regular starters with the Three Lions.
Since making the switch from Brighton to north London, White has played the full 90 minutes in every Gunners Premier League fixture this campaign bar two, which he only missed due to testing positive for COVID-19.
The Gunners had a poor start to the campaign under Mikel Arteta, but have since turned their form around and currently sit sixth in the table.
And White's solid performances, that have aided his side in climbing the league, haven't gone unnoticed.
White was included in Gareth Southgate's 26-man squad for Euro 2020, replacing the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold, but didn't feature in a game.
However, the ex-Brighton man is now arguably outperforming those men who kept him out of the starting XI in the summer.
Former England international Darren Bent was asked by Ally McCoist whether he deserves a call up for England's final two World Cup qualifiers squad, and he believed there was 'no reason' he shouldn't be.
"You look at the competition he's up against, Tyrone Mings is having a bit of tough one at the minute, Michael Keane is having a tough one at the minute," Bent told talkSPORT.
"He's [White] certainly on better form, so if them guys are in the squad there's no reason why Ben White shouldn't be in there, for me, in the next squad if he continues his form."
Keane and Mings aren't the only England defenders that Bent thinks White is performing better than.
He added: [Harry] Maguire is shakey as well - [Joe] Gomez isn't even playing."
"I wrote down a list. Harry Maguire, not been in great form. John Stones, not playing. Michael Keane, not been great. Gomez at Liverpool, not playing. And Tyrone Mings, not been good for Villa.
"He must be thinking, 'if I don't get in now am I ever going to get in?'
