The Guinea international stood away from his teammates and the players of opponents Mallorca, who posed for photos in front of a league banner which read: 'Racists, out of football'.
In Valencia's last match, four supporters at Mestalla were arrested on suspicion of directing m chants at Real Madrid's Vinicius.
The Brazilian was later sent off for a clash with Valencia's players, and released a strong statement on social media where he said LaLiga 'belongs to racists' and Spain 'is known as a country of racists'.
For Valencia's part, their response was heavily criticised, as was that of the local media who rather than apologising chose to focus on a claim from Carlo Ancelotti that the whole stadium was chanting.
Ancelotti later apologised for that claim, but for Valencia's part, they showed little remorse by appealing a partial stadium closure handed out by the league for the racist abuse.

It now appears that their own player was upset by the response of the team and the league, standing away from the pre-match banner from LaLiga.
Diakhaby himself has previously been subject to racist abuse while playing away at Cadiz in 2021 and walked off the pitch. LaLiga didn't punish Cadiz, saying there was not enough evidence to do so.
In the aftermath of the Valencia v Real Madrid match LaLiga president Javier Tebas chose to criticise Vinicius on Twitter saying he needed to 'inform himself' and show up to meetings with the league.
The 22-year-old replied by saying: "Once again, instead of criticising racists, the president of LaLiga appears on social media to attack me.

"Omitting yourself only makes you equal to racists. I'm not your friend to talk about racism. I want actions and punishments. Hashtag doesn't move me."
Vinicius' red card was later rescinded, and Tebas later apologised for his comments, but he didn't feature in Real's following match against Rayo Vallecano, where he received a standing ovation from the Bernabeu and his teammates.
