The 20-year-old's outstanding rise has seen him become a crucial player for Arsenal who might be resigned to losing him if he does not sign a new contract which is due to expire in 2024.
Saka has been crucial to manager Mikel Arteta this season having scored five goals and contributed to four assists in 19 Premier League games so far.
Given the form he has shown this campaign, many clubs would be interested in Saka's services and none more so than Liverpool.
According to The Transfer Window Podcast, Ian McGarry said Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp is expected to refresh his forward line and could move for Saka as a replacement who is said to be interested in a move to Merseyside.
"We have reported on The Transfer Window Podcast that Liverpool are looking to the future with regards to the fact that they expect to sell at least two of their attacking players," McGarry said.
"Saka is someone who is a player who suits Liverpool's style."
Without question the Gunners would be devastated to lose someone of Saka's quality and are attempting to tie him down to a long term deal, McGarry added.
"My understanding is that there have been talks with his representatives with regards to giving him a contract upgrade at Arsenal.
"Liverpool would provide the opportunity and platform for him to play and compete at the highest level. And that would certainly be something that I'm told he and his representatives are very interested in."
Since Saka's debut in January 2019, he has won the FA Cup with his boyhood club but has had to watch Liverpool win the highest accolades in football by the way of the Champions League in the same year and then the Premier League in 2020.
Given the comments Klopp has made in the past about the Arsenal youngster, it is no surprise to see Liverpool be interested in the England winger.
Prior to their 4-0 win over the Gunners in November 2021, he labelled Saka a very 'young and exciting player'.
