Mourinho has spat with journalist as his side suffer loss to former club Inter

The ex-Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham boss did not take any questions from reporters after the 3-0 defeat but instead made a cynical comment.

First half goals from central midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, former Man city striker Edin Dzeko and Netherlands right-back Denzel Dumfries gave the defending champions a comfortable win in the Stadio Olimpico.

Understandbly frustrated, when attending his post-match press conference, the two-time Champions League winner refused to take any questions but instead made a scathing comment to the journalists.

"Your job is a lot easier than ours which is why we earn a lot more than you," Mourinho said.

The 58-year-old refused to take any questions but instead lamented his side's performance and pointed to missed opportunities during the match as well as injuries to key personnel such as former Blues striker Tammy Abraham.

"Inter are better than us on a good day. Inter are objectively better than us. This became an extremely difficult match tonight because of absentees," he added.

"They finished 29 points above us last season. We had three big chances, two of which came at 0-0."

It's almost a case of deja vu for Mourinho who had a similar spat with a journalist during his time at Manchester United.

On the back of another 3-0 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in 2018, the Portuguese manager was gave football fans a memory that will not be forgotten quickly when he was answering his post-match questions from journalists.

One reporter asked Mourinho about his side's performance from that match which caused many supporters to walk out early and in turn prompted this response.

"Today the players left the pitch after losing at home and they were applauded, because they deserved it, so keep trying, and trying, and trying, and keep trying.

"Just to finish, do you know what was the result? This [holding three fingers up]. 3-0, 3-0.

"Do you know what this is? 3-0. But it also means three Premierships and I won more Premierships alone than the other 19 managers together. Three for me and two for them two. So respect man, respect, respect, respect."
