A new era at Manchester United kicks off today with Ralf Rangnick taking charge of his first game at Old Trafford against Crystal Palace.
The German has been appointed interim manager of the Red Devils following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's sack last month. Michael Carrick took charge of three games in between, recording two wins and a draw against Arsenal, Chelsea and Villarreal.
The former United midfielder, however, left the club on a permanent basis following his caretaker stint in search of new ventures.
It means Rangnick only has the advice of remaining coaches Kieran McKenna and Mike Phelan to lean on heading into Sunday's fixture.
The 63-year-old has only had one training session with his new troops but there will still be a keen eye to see if any immediate changes are made.

Rangnick's programme notes
"Managing Manchester United, even in an interim capacity, is a massive challenge but, to me, this feels like I am in the right place at the right time," wrote the German.
"I have been here at Old Trafford before, as an opposition manager with Schalke in the 2011 Champions League semi-finals. I also visited Manchester while my son was at university here, and I am delighted to be back.
"Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in the world. There is so much history here, so many titles won, so many great players produced and developed. Right now, I am here because development is what needs to happen again.
"Nobody at the club is happy to be where we are in the Premier League table. It has been an average season so far, there is no avoiding that, but this club has players who are much better than the position we currently occupy, and it is my job to improve those players and that position."

Bad memories for United fans
Crystal Palace enjoyed a famous 3-1 victory the last time they visited Old Trafford in September 2020.
A brace from Wilfried Zaha gave Roy Hodgson's side all three points, with Donny van de Beek scoring United's goal.

How things stand
United are currently seventh in the Premier League following Saturday's action.
Ralf Rangnick's new side will move up to fifth in the table if they beat Crystal Palace and Tottenham fail to get the same result against Norwich.
The Red Devils have won six of their 14 Premier League fixtures this season, drawing three and losing five.
United have conceded as many goals as they've scored - 24 - shipping in three more than relegated threatened Burnley.
Can Rangnick fix their leaky defence? More will be revealed this afternoon...

Ralf's dinner plans
Ralf Rangnick is planning to take Sir Alex Ferguson out for dinner to explain how he intends to drag United back into the big time.
"I have not spoken to Sir Alex because he has just returned from New York and has had to stay at home because of quarantine and covid regulations," said the new manager ahead of today's game.
"But I am very much looking forward to meeting him over the next two or three weeks. Darren Fletcher told me he wants to arrange a mutual lunch or dinner with him."

Ronaldo boost
Ronaldo has handed Ralf Rangnick a major boost ahead of his first match in charge of Manchester United this afternoon.
Fitness issues arose from the Arsenal win and made the five-time Ballon d'Or winner a doubt for Rangnick's first game in charge this afternoon.
Ronaldo was seen hobbling off on Thursday night and with just two days recovery before United's next match, it looked unlikely that he would play a part against Palace.
But the veteran forward has appeared to dispel those fears and handed Rangnick a big boost by insisting he is ready for action on Instagram.
