The Manchester City boss stuck to his real life role in the show, with a duo of former Premier League stars spotted as two of his players.
Main character Lasso, played by American actor Jason Sudeikis, is the head coach of fictional Premier League club AFC Richmond.
During the most recent episode, his side makes the trip to the Etihad Stadium to face City.
After the match, the managers met on the touchline and exchanged words, with Guardiola congratulating his counterpart by saying: "Good game."
"Thanks coach, I appreciate it," said Lasso in response. "Hey I've got to be honest with you, you're a tough guy to beat, man!"

Guardiola replied: "Don't worry about who wins or loses. Just help these guys be the best version of themselves on and off the pitch. This, at the end, is the most important thing."
Lasso took the advice on board and before they parted ways, said: "I couldn't agree more, coach."
Before kick-off, one eagle-eyed fan on Twitter also noticed ex-Premier League stars Jay Bothroyd and George Elokobi walking out onto the pitch.
Bothroyd made 62 appearances in the top flight across spells at Coventry, Blackburn, Charlton and QPR, with Elokobi featuring 59 times for Wolves.
