The 18-year-old got Gambia off to a flying start at the tournament in Argentina, with his double enough to down Honduras 2-1 - his first strike coming after just 30 seconds.
It has already led to a scramble for Bojang's signature, including from Chelsea and Tottenham, as well as European clubs including Inter Milan, RB Salzburg and Sporting Lisbon.
The wonderkid's agent, Cherno Samba, is a name familiar to people on these shores, particularly those who remember Championship Manager, where Samba was a sensational prospect - much like his client now.
And the former Millwall and Plymouth striker had a word of warning for Bojang, who idolises Cristiano Ronaldo, about the dangers of too much, too fast at the development stage for players.
Samba exclusively told talkSPORT.com: "I've spoken to him, I've told him to keep his feet on the ground as myself and my own story, being a striker.

"The hype around me growing up around his age, he could not be in a better place in terms of me looking after him. I can show him all the pitfalls of the game.
"He's ready to go, he works hard and he is hungry. I set him a task before he got to the World Cup, I want certain goals, certain man of the match awards and stuff.
"And bless him, he scored them two goals and he told me, 'I told you I was going to do it. This is just the beginning'.
Gambia face France on Thursday night in a huge test for the young African side, coming up against arguably the favourites to win the whole tournament.

There will be more eyes than ever watching thanks to Bojang's meteoric rise, but that will not faze the striker, who currently plays for Gambian outfit Steve Biko FC.
"Absolutely [he's ready to step up]," Samba added. "He is destined for greatness. He needs to go to a club that will develop him and the rest will be history, I tell you that.
"Fingers crossed he stays away from injury but he will be a top, top, top player.
"He is a very, very talented prospect, that's for sure. He looks up to Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane.
"He's always watching YouTube videos of Cristiano and trying to emulate himself like that. He has got the pace, he's great in the air and he is a goalscorer."
Samba has had his own incredible story in football, starting out as one of the most chased-after youngsters while scoring goals for fun at youth level for Millwall.
Liverpool and Manchester United chased his signature but sometimes in football, luck just is not on your side.
And now turning his attention to becoming an agent, he is keen to make sure the youngsters of the sport are not led down the same paths.
The former striker said: "I am telling Adama, 'listen, get your football ready, concentrate on your game and everything else will take care of itself'.
"From my own experience and my own path when I was coming up, these are the things I can steer him away from.
"I deal with the stuff that he doesn't need to know. Let me take the burden of that and he just needs to concentrate.
"I've been there, done that and got the T-shirt so there is not a better person to steer him away from the pitfalls of the game and the bad apples.
