Young Boys captain ran to get Haaland's shirt at half time - then got sat down by striker

City took the Swiss outfit apart at the Etihad Stadium with a 3-0 triumph thanks to two goals by Erling Haaland and a neat finish by Phil Foden - a result which seals their place in the last 16 of the Champions League.

It was 2-0 to City at half time and although the match wasn't over, Young Boys defender Mohamed Ali Camara was keen to get his souvenir from the trip to the Etihad Stadium.

After the referee blew the whistle to mark the end of the first half, Camara was filmed running over to City hotshot Haaland.

Camara then asked the top scoring striker if he could have his shirt, and Haaland was happy to oblige as he handed the 26-year-old the top he wore in the first half.

Audio from the incident later released appeared to show Haaland say 'you cannot do this' at Camara. However, it's not clear if this was in relation to the shirt exchange.

The request to Haaland by Camara didn't sit well with talkSPORT's Ally McCoist one bit.

"100 per cent not having it. Is that clear?" he told broadcaster TNT Sports.

"That is embarrassing. Not having it at all, mate. Not having at all."

Camara was then seen on his backside when Haaland's second goal - a rocket from the outside the area - flew in for City's third and final goal of the night.
