The 33-year-old recently recovered from a serious Achilles injury and had been without a club for four months.
He now embarks on a new venture, having signed a two-month deal at Meadow Lane.

Gosling came through the ranks at Plymouth, before eventually plying his trade with Everton and Newcastle.
He then spent six-years with Bournemouth clocking up 193 appearances as the Cherries were promoted to the Premier League.
The midfielder then joined Watford in 2021 but featured just 36 times after being blighted by persistent injuries.
Gosling now heads to Notts County as a replacement for Matt Palmer, who will be absent for the remainder of the campaign with a knee problem.
