The Magpies' qualification hopes suffered a blow when they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat in the reverse fixture at St James' Park last month.

Newcastle's hopes are now on a knife edge in the Champions League with even a draw keeping Dortmund firmly in the driving seat.

But the Tyneside outfit will be buoyed by their morale-boosting 1-0 win over Arsenal at the weekend while Dortmund were humiliated 4-0 at home to rivals Bayern Munich following a Harry Kane hat-trick.
