The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) defeated the LA Galaxy 3-2 on Friday night at Banc of California Stadium as Carlos Vela managed to record a couple of assists.
This marks the first LAFC victory over Galaxy in the past six head-to-heads between the cross-town rivals.
Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez struggled throughout the entire match and had several fits of rage against a few of his teammates.
Vela, meanwhile, controlled the game splendidly after missing last week's LAFC loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Jose Cifuentes opened the score to give the home side its first lead of the night, which remained until the 55th minute of play.
