The LA Galaxy will visit Los Angeles FC at Banc of California Stadium on Friday night for El Trafico.

Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez and Co. look to continue their recent dominance over their cross-town rivals, going undefeated (3-2-0) in the last five contests against LAFC.

Carlos Vela and Chicharito once again go head-to-head in another MLS derby.

Vela missed last week's LAFC 1-0 loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps along with Jose Cifuentes, and both will return to the field on Friday.

Chicharito, meanwhile, scored in this week's LA Galaxy 4-0 mauling of Montreal FC.

Hernandez leads his team in scoring with seven league goals while Dejan Joveljic, who also netted in a goal against Montreal, has scored six.

LAFC currently stand two points clear of Austin FC at the top of the Western Conference as the Galaxy sit in fourth place.

LA Galaxy have lost three times in 15 all-time matches (7-5-3) against LAFC in all competitions.

They recently defeated the Black and Gold in the US Open Cup match.

While LAFC have one of the most devastating offenses in the league, the Galaxy have scored 11 goals in the last four games and conceded 19 goals in one fewer game than LAFC.

They have allowed the fourth-fewest shots (180) and attempts on target (61) this season while goalkeeper Jonathan Bond has achieved six clean sheets.

LAFC are tied with Austin for the MLS lead in scoring with 35 goals, conceding just 19 over their last 18 outings.

At home, they have scored 20 and allowed 10 while maintaaining a 7-2-1 record this season at Banc of California Stadium.

LA Galaxy, meanwhile, have been mediocre on the road this year, winning just three times in seven matches (3-2-2) while scoring eight goals in seven matches.
