Cristian Romero got away with not picking up a fourth red card in 2023 in Tottenham's clash at Newcastle, says Gary Neville.
The Tottenham star planted his studs on Callum Wilson's ankle as the Newcastle striker was picking himself up off the ground.
He was given a yellow card but, despite a VAR check, it wasn't upgraded to a red.
Manchester United legend Gary Neville was baffled by the decision live on Sky Sports, saying: "He's got away with it this time but one thing is for certain it's something Spurs have got to do about it."
On Romero, Neville earlier said: "He is crazy."
Romero is one yellow away from a suspension as he's now on four so far this season.
