The former heavyweight world champion admitted that he may have been out of line when he promised to place a staggering £10 million bet on himself ahead of his upcoming showdown with Oleksandr Usyk.
The original fight was penned for February, but the clash was moved to May after Fury picked up a cut during sparring which he needed to wait to heal.
The bout in May ended in defeat on points for the previously undefeated Fury, with Usyk claiming the victory and his opponent praising the Ukrainian's performance.
Fury said he would have ideally preferred more time to prepare for their fight in May, but in order to avoid a £10million fine for another delay, he went ahead with the fight which he eventually lost.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said that it had been a 'lot easier' this time around in comparison to May's fight.

"I've done lots of sparring and I've been able to train properly, whereas before it's no secret that I didn't do a lot of sparring, hence I had a massive bounty on my cut eye.
"Thinking sensible, maybe I would have pushed it back a little bit and cost myself £10m.
"It doesn't really matter because we're here now and I'm going to do the job on Saturday night."
Victory for either man would crown them the first undisputed heavyweight champion in over two decades.

Fury, known for his confident and brash personality, also admitted that he hasn't needed to 'process' the defeat to Usyk last time around.
"I haven't processed it at all. I've not done any processing.
"All I've done is enjoyed my life and lived, and then went into another training camp. And I'll continue to do the same thing after this fight."
Fury will enter the ring coming off a hard-fought victory against former MMA star Francis Ngannou in October.
His narrow win over Ngannou was criticised by many, with some questioning if he is prepared to take on a skilled and disciplined opponent like Usyk.
Usyk, the former undisputed cruiserweight king, holds the WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight belts.
His technical style and impressive footwork have proven a challenge for every fighter he has faced.
Despite his recent performance, Fury remains confident. When asked "I'm not sure, you know. You can never talk for other people.
"Usyk will do what he's got to do, and I'll see him on Saturday night for a big boy fight."
