Now 39 years old, Foster is starting a second spell at Wrexham having previously played for them 18 years ago, on loan, in 2005.
With Hollywood owners Reynolds and Rob McElheney running the club, everyone is dreaming of the chance to speak with the duo, something that Foster says has now become a reality.

Speaking on talkSPORT Drive, Foster said: "He [Reynolds] actually slid into my DMs today once the news was announced…
"I'm buzzing I've got Ryan Reynolds in there, I ain't even replied to him! I'll leave him hanging for a bit!"
But Foster then admitted he first started the conversation with Reynolds' DMs when they Hollywood star first took over the club, saying: "I slid into his DMs saying, 'I used to play for Wrexham and if you're ever available for a podcast I'd love you to come.'
"Anyway he's replied now with, 'Mate, sorry I didn't reply. I'll definitely do the podcast with you, thank you for signing.'

"Basically along those lines, 'This is going to be massive for us, we need to get out of this league, we want to get into the Football League.'
"Really sincere, that. He's given me his phone number too."
With many fans intrigued as to what Reynolds and McElhenney are planning for the club, Foster says that from his early experiences, the two US-based owners are 'genuinely interested' in growing the club.

He said: "Phil Parkinson's telling me about some of the things he's doing behind the scenes already that people haven't heard of and probably doesn't want people to hear about.
"He just sounds like the absolute dream, genuinely. He's always over, always trying to watch the matches, he's genuinely interested in it.
"I think a lot of people, when he first took over, were quite sceptical and worried it was a bit of a plaything and media stunt. But he's completely into it."

Foster also revealed that he had discussions about rejoining Tottenham on an emergency deal following the injury to Hugo Lloris, something that he'd have loved to do.
However, for reasons out of his control, a move to his boyhood club was a non-starter.
Foster explained: "It's a case of they had to find out if I'm interested first and foremost and straight away that was a yes. I was a boyhood Spurs fan so definitely something I would've contemplated.
"They then have to go to the Premier League and try and get special dispensation to see if they can sign another goalkeeper as an emergency signing.

"The problem was that Fraser Forster was fully fit, while second choice goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman is 23 years old so he doesn't really count as a youth team goalie or reserve team goalie. He counts as a senior team goalie. That straight away got chucked out."
