Speaking to talkSPORT about facing Spain, the Lionesses icon said: "They've been fantastic this tournament.
"Obviously they have suffered that defeat against Japan, but I play with 90 per cent of those players day in, day out.
"I know the qualities that they have, I think Salma has kind of burst onto the scene.
"But she's a player that I play against every single day in training.

"She's a left winger, I'm a right-back, so we have good battles in training every day.
"But I'm super proud of her and all the Barca girls for what they've achieved - they've made history for Spain.
"I think everybody knows what to expect from Spain, lots of possession, that's what they like to do.
"Maybe they're a little bit vulnerable on the counter-attack which we've seen this tournament.
"But they certainly have some world class players in that team."
