A cautionary tale for Man Utd fans: It's not all sunshine and roses under Poch

'He's magic, you know', or so the Tottenham fans sang with real gusto, for the vast majority of Mauricio Pochettino's tenure in north London.

He'll forever be the man who took Tottenham to a Champions League final, made them regulars in Europe's premium competition, regular top four finishers.

Her ended Tottenham's 30-year hoodoo at Stamford Bridge and took great strides in ending the club's derogatory 'Spursy' reputation.

But it wasn't all sunshine and roses during his tenure, the run to the Champions League final masked a dreadful league record.

Spurs won just six out of 24 league matches between February 2019 and November that year, when he lost his his job. And his record in cup finals with Spurs reads: played two, lost two. Hardly the 'Glory, Glory' heroics fans dreamt of.

A fantastic coach, no doubt… but here's some food for thought in our video (below) as Man United fans wait and hope for his arrival to be announced.
