The last match on Barcelona's tour of the United States was against the New York Red Bulls and the match, which ended in a 2-0 win with goals from Ousmane Dembele and Memphis Depay, had a special guest.
Dwayne Johnson, known as 'The Rock', attended the match at the Red Bull Arena and was in the tunnel, where he was able to take a selfie with players such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ferran Torres.
The Hollywood star shared some photos in which he could be seen enjoying the festive atmosphere before the friendly.
After the final whistle, the film star and former wrestler wanted to greet the Blaugrana players and stopped to take a selfie with Aubameyang and Torres.
The image, as expected, went viral and already has more than 100,000 likes. Many fans highlighted the fact that a star like Johnson was a football fan and, in particular, a fan of Barcelona.
"Good to see you, my brothers, energy from you guys and Barcelona fans was...", he said alongside some fire emojis.
Criticism of The Rock for meeting Barcelona players
However, some users criticised the actor for publicly siding with a team with a financial debt like Barcelona.
"Rock, it's not good for you to associate yourself with the club that won't pay their football players," wrote one fan.
