With Manchester United set to depart for their pre-season tour which will take them to Thailand and Australia, new boss Erik ten Hag has introduced a number of rules to the players before Friday's departure.
The United dressing room has reportedly been fractured for a while, and lacking leadership, which Ten Hag is looking to bring back by setting much higher standards for the players.
According to the Mirror, Ten Hag has told the Manchester Untied players that they will be dropped from the team if they are late for training or team meetings. And it applies to all, regardless of status the club.
The drinking of alcohol has been prohibited during game weeks, as the Dutchman is keen to have the players in peak physical condition.
In addition to the alcohol ban, Ten Hag has also revamped the menu at the training ground with more fish and vegetables added. He also wants the same chefs to prep all meals rather than players employing their own.
Players' body mass index (BMI) with be checked monthly as well, with players also told to address any issues directly with Ten Hag, instead of taking complaints to agents.
