Since his arrival, there has been debate as to whether there will be a spot for the Brazilian in Spurs' line-up every week, with Kane, Son and Kulusevski thrilling at the line at the end of last season.
However, talkSPORT's Danny Murphy believes Richarlison will do well in north London and displace the talented young Swede who is on loan from Juventus.
"I like the Richarlison signing, although I think they've paid a lot," the former Liverpool star said on talkSPORT Drive.
When asked by his co-host Andy Goldstein if the Brazilian will start for him, Murphy paused for thought and then responded: "No."
And then, he reconsidered.
"Actually do you know what, I'll change that. I think initially he'd have to wait for his opportunity. I'm talking about the big games here.
"I think he'll end up becoming part of the three, him, Son and Kane. I think he's got more goals in him than Kulusevski."
Playing predominantly as a centre-forward and occasionally dropping to the left wing, Richarlison netted 10 times and recorded five assists in the Premier League this season for Everton.
It's fair to say the 25-year-old was a shining light in an otherwise poor season for the Toffees, who just about scraped Premier League survival last term.
He started for his new side in their pre-season friendly against the K-League All-stars in South Korea.
But Richarlison won't have an easy task when it comes to pushing past Son, Kane and Juventus loanee Kulusevski to play in the Spurs XI week in, week out.
Winger Kulusevski arrived at Tottenham on an 18-month deal in January and had an immediate impact.
The 21-year-old featured in every game following his move, scoring five goals and setting up a hefty eight goals in his 20 appearances.
Kulusevski's stats don't even really reflect the impact he had on Spurs' attack, helping them drive towards their top four finish.
But Murphy isn't overly convinced and backs Richarlison to eventually take his place.
"Yeah, he gave them a nice balance and yeah, athleticism and a few assists, but he's not prolific.
"I think he's [Richarlison] got more goals in him that Kulusevski. He scored double figures in Everton's team."
