Real Madrid may have won the La Liga and Champions League double but boss Carlo Ancelotti will not rest on laurels and has targeted one of England's brightest prospects - although he might have to wait a year to sign.
Romelu Lukaku has spoken to the new owner of Chelsea in a bid to unlock his return to Inter Milan. And the deal could depend on the transfer of a Dutch international to Stamford Bridge.
Two former Premier League stars could soon be unveiled in Serie A but the Italian club's coach insists he is not going to Paris Saint-Germain to replace Mauricio Pochettino. Mirror Sport has rounded up the best of transfer news and rumours from around Europe.
Real Madrid want Bellingham
Former Birmingham City man Jude Bellingham was subbed off during England's Hungary humiliation at Molineux but he is big news in Spain today. Cader SER reports that the Champions League winners wants to sign the teenager and are ready to pay Borussia Dortmund €90million.
The non-Brexit bonus for Bellingham is that he no longer has EU status and so is likely to have to wait until next year when Vinicius obtains a Spanish passport. But the wait leaves the door open for Liverpool to make a move.
Suarez to follow Pogba?
Social media in France and Italy caught fire yesterday with a photo of Juventus coach Max Allegri meeting new PSG sporting director Jorge Campos. The two parties claimed it was a chance meeting and Allegri insisted he was staying in Serie A. But PSG also tried to sign the Italian before Mauricio Pochettino - and they are still looking for a replacement for the former Spurs boss who was sacked last week.
Now Gazzetta dello Sport reports Paul Pogba is set to be unveiled for a second time at Juventus after agreeing a four-year deal worth €10m a year. And, intriguingly, the Italian sports daily says that the Old Lady is also interested in Luis Suarez.
The former Liverpool star, now 35, is a free agent after leaving Atletico Madrid. The Uruguayan nearly moved to Serie A in 2020 and Italian police investigated allegations of fraud over Suarez taking an Italian exam at the University of Perugia in a bid to obtain an Italian passport.

Mbappe wanted Tchouameni
Real Madrid, who have signed Antonio Rudiger on a free, unveiled their second big summer deal in Aurélien Tchouaméni with the money that had been allocated to sign Mbappe. And midfielder Tchouameni, who joins for €80m from Monaco, revealed his fellow France star had tried to persuade him to sign for the Ligue 1 champions.
"Kylian decided to stay at PSG and he already knew he was going to leave Monaco and wanted to know if he could go to PSG, but I told him I wanted Madrid and he understood perfectly," he said.
Dumfries key to Lukaku deal
The Chelsea striker has called new club owner Todd Boehly and coach Thomas Tuchel to speed negotiations for his return to Serie A, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The Premier League club are looking for a loan fee of €25m and an agreed price if the deal becomes permanent.
Inter will not pay this fee but are willing to throw Dutch right-back Denzel Dumfries into the deal although the Italian sports daily claims that Erik ten Hag, apparently interested in every Dutchman in Europe, has also enquired about Dumfries for Manchester United.
Meanwhile, the loss of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen this summer - with Marcos Alonso and César Azpilicueta set to follow - leaves the Blues in urgent need of reinforcements. Marca reports that France international Jules Kounde is at the top of their shopping list but the 23-year-old is under contract until 2024 and Sevilla will not budge from their €65m asking price.
