Maradona's hidden amulet that nobody knew about

T he previously unknown stories regarding Diego Armando Maradona continue to emerge after his recent death.

The latest that has come to light is regarding an amulet that was hidden inside one of his old Napoli shirts that nobody knew about.

The jersey is one that Maradona wore for the Serie A giants in the 1984/85 season and sewn inside it is a pouch containing dry grass.

Revealed by TyC Sports, the story grows even more curious given the fact that nobody close to Maradona had any idea about it either.

The owner of the shirt is a teacher from the town of San Luis in Argentina, who inherited it from his family, and subsequently brought the curious hidden item to light.
