The 23-year-old has only made one appearance this season after suffering yet another injury in the Blues' opening game against Liverpool.
James had only just returned to action in that match following an injury-stricken last campaign, but a hamstring issue sidelined him once again.
And recent reports suggested that he may have had a setback in his recovery, however, a return to action is still on the cards…

But the claims of a possible setback quickly dampened spirits and had fans expecting James to be on the sidelines for even longer.
The setback may not have been a serious one though, as the right-back took to social media to tease about a possible comeback this weekend.
On Instagram, James posted a picture of himself smiling during a training session.
The caption read: "Against all odds."

Chelsea also gave an official update on their skipper, leaving him off their injury list ahead of the clash against Arsenal.
All signs point to James being fit to feature, however, Mauricio Pochettino may be cautious about throwing him straight back into the action.
And if he does only make the bench, it will be Malo Gusto who covers his spot as he returns from a three-game suspension.
