Guardiola's mortified reaction to kicking water bottle at Leeds dugout

Happy or sad, angry or amused, football fans know exactly what is going through the Manchester City's boss's mind.

The fiery Spaniard wears his heart very much on his sleeve - and that's the way we love him.

That includes when he inadvertently took out the entire Leeds bench when his temper got the better of him.

Man City were facing the Whites in late December at Elland Road with the champions-elect holding a 3-1 lead.

As the game moved towards the end, Guardiola was keen to ensure that standards did not drop, something that made him furious as he witnessed a degree of complacency in his team.

After first throwing a plastic on the floor, Guardiola then turned around and booted a water bottle in fury.

Unfortunately for him, it flew straight towards the Leeds bench, much to his clear embarrassment.

Guardiola rushed over to the bench to apologise as he tried to smooth over the situation, much to Leeds' unhappiness.

Thankfully there was no damage done and the Premier League had yet another wonderful off-field Guardiola moment to look back on and laugh.
