The Young Lions won every group game without conceding a goal to set up a quarter-final tie with Portugal this weekend.
Lee Carsley's side made it three wins from three by beating current holders Germany last time out to send them home from the competition.
That win will have boosted England's confidence even higher ahead of the last-eight clash with Portugal who finished runners-up in Group A.

Arsenal star Smith Rowe believes that the England squad are confident they can now go on and win the Euro U21 Championship.
He said: "We had that talk before we even came over here.
"We have the confidence that we want to make a statement in this tournament and believe that we can go all the way and win it.
"We just have to make sure we take each game as it comes. There are not many days between the games so we have to recover quick.
"It's a great bunch of lads. Everyone helps each other. Even the boys that haven't played are really helping us help the team."
